Tashin buys land to improve steel rolling capacity
Malaysia-listed steelmaker Tashin Holdings will acquire two industrial sites and factories at Vijung in Penang from China Steel Corporation's Malaysian subsidiary for RM 43.5 million ($10.6m). Tashin will increase its steel processing capacity from 149,520 tonnes/year to 222,720 t/y through the new plant, Kallanish notes.
