Turkish construction company wins Tanzania railway third-phase contract
Turkish construction company Yapi Merkezi has been awarded by the Tanzanian government to build the 358km third-phase railway line between hinterland Mwanza and Dar Es Salaam, the commercial province on the Indian Ocean, Kallanish notes.
Turkish steelmaker Kardemir supplied the rail for the previous phases of the project undertaken by Yapı Merkezi in Tanzania.
