Tangyin begins construction of coastal plant
Hebei province’s Tangyin Iron & Steel in Tangshan city has begun construction of its new plant in coastal Caofeidian this week, Kallanish notes. The steelmaker will reduce 670,000 tonnes/year of iron capacity and 575,000 t/y of crude steel capacity by replacing its old plant with the new facilities.
