Tangshan temporarily suspends independent rolling mills
The Hebei Tangshan government has issued an urgent notice to suspend 67 independent rolling mills from 16 to 31 July. This is because a southerly wind is expected to lead to a build-up in air pollution in the city, Kallanish notes. The temporary restriction is expected to lead to around 59,700 tonnes/day of lost finished steel output.
