Tangshan restricts sinter plants

The Tangshan government in Hebei Province has ordered some steel enterprises to stop sinter production from 24-27 August. This is in order to alleviate the environmental pressure that the city faces due to pollution. In the six regions under Tangshan City, 37 sintering machines of 19 steel companies need to stop production, Kallanish notes.
