Tangshan removes restrictions as Handan does the opposite
Hebei province's Tangshan city government has removed its temporary steel production restrictions as air quality has improved, according to the Tangshan Weather Service Environmental Monitoring Central Station. Handan meanwhile has strengthened its restricitons on the steel industry over the winter heating season, extending them downstream to steel processors, Kallanish notes.
