Tangshan to relocate steelmakers by 2020
Tangshan city has continued to report some of the worst air quality in China and the local government hopes to relocate steel companies to reduce pollution in the city. It plans to integrate steel companies from 40 to 30 and reduce steel capacity to around 100 million tonnes/year by December 2020, Kallanish notes.
