Tangshan to remove more steel capacity
Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued three documents on 24 December listing the requirements for the relocation of major steel mills in the province's Tangshan city. With the relocation, Tangshan will reduce 1.86 million tonnes/year of iron capacity and 1.935m t/y of steel capacity by 2020, Kallanish notes.
