Tangshan Jianlong dismantles two blast furnaces
China’s Jianlong Group has dismantled the No.1 and No.3 blast furnaces at its Tangshan steel plant, which stopped production in November, Kallanish notes.
The two BFs, located in Zunhua City, Hebei province, have a total capacity of 1.1 million tonnes/year of iron. Of this, 945,000 t/y has been transferred to Chengde Jianlong Special Steel and the remainder to Tangshan Ganglu Steel.
