Tangshan further restricts steel production
The Tangshan Municipal Government has issued an emergency notice to further restrict steel production in Tangshan, Hebei Province. As air quality has not improved as expected, the government requires more steelmakers to suspend or limit their production from 18:00 on 5 July. The government has not said when production will be allowed to restart, Kallanish notes.
