Tangshan Delong completely ceases production
China’s Tangshan Delong in Hebei Province completely ceased production on Wednesday. The closure was due to requirements from its reorganisation with Jiujiang Wire Rod, Kallanish notes.
According to the capacity replacement plan, Delong’s equipment has to be dismantled by the end of September this year. With demolition set to start on 1 July, the move is not a direct result of recent low steel prices.
