Tangshan announces new air pollution control plan
Tangshan in Hebei Province has announced its latest air pollution control plan lasting until the end of April. It aims for the city's air quality ranking to escape from being one of the ten most polluted cities in China.
Steel mills that run blast furnaces face the same restrictions as previously, Kallanish notes, while Class-B, Class-C and Class-D coking companies have to limit production by no less than 20%, 30% and 40% of capacity, respectively.
