Tanggang force majeure irks Vietnamese importers
Some Vietnamese coil importers have had their orders cancelled following Tangshan Iron and Steel (Tanggang) declaring force majeure on some shipments. The volume of output affected by the force majeure remains uncertain, but some traders have told Kallanish that rapidly rising prices may be another motive for cancelling contracts.
