Taiwan’s Yieh Hsing suffers from low overseas demand
Taiwanese major steel wire rod manufacturer Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co. reported huge losses in revenue for both June and the first half of the year, according to an exchange filing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
The company’s June revenue slumped 41.2% from the year-ago level to TWD 373 million ($11.9m). This took half-year income to TWD 2.71 billion, down 33.9% on the same period of 2022, Kallanish notes.
