Taiwan’s June exports rise, Vietnam increases share
Compared with May, Taiwan’s iron and steel trade value remained relatively stable in June. But exports surged year-on-year, according to data from Taiwan’s finance ministry.
June exports came to $2.13 billion, up 2.7% month-on-month and 31.3% y-o-y. Half-year value was thus boosted to $12.52 billion, with a rise of 32.9% from a year earlier, Kallanish notes.
