Taiwan’s steel cross-border trade rebounds in October
Both imports and exports of Taiwanese iron and steel products hiked in October compared with the prior month, Kallanish learns from data given by the Ministry of Finance, Taiwan.
Monthly exports rebounded marginally from a 31-month low to nearly $1.3 billion, but were still lower than any other month during the period and were 23.2% lower year-on-year. This took ten-month exports to $14.53 billion, an increase of over a quarter from a year earlier.
