Taiwan steel trade value surges in January
Taiwan saw significant increases in iron and steel foreign trade in January on a year-on-year basis, with the help of restocking before the Lunar New Year holiday in some Asian countries in early February, Kallanish notes.
In January, Taiwan’s iron and steel export value increased 45% y-o-y and 13.3% month-on-month to $2.16 billion, according to data from the Ministry of Finance of Taiwan.
