Taiwan’s January cross-border steel trade rebounds sharply
Taiwan’s January exports and imports of iron and steel products rebounded sharply to five- and eight-month highs respectively, according to Taiwan Ministry of Finance data.
January exports by value jumped to over $1.46 billion, an increase of 8.7% over December. On a year-on-year basis, the figure decreased just 0.7%, Kallanish notes.
