Taiwan’s February steel trade value declines from January
Taiwan’s February steel trade value registered a month-on-month decline in both exports and imports, but the value grew from one year ago, Kallanish learns from the Ministry of Finance of Taiwan.
In the given month, Taiwan’s iron and steel export value decreased 12.5% m-o-m but surged 52.6% year-on-year to $1.89 billion. This boosted the year-to-date export value to $4.05 billion, up 48.5% from the corresponding period in 2021.
