Taiwan’s CSC eyes carbon neutrality by 2050
Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) aims to reduce carbon emissions by 7% by 2025, and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, according to chairman Wong Chao-tung, Kallanish notes.
“The company will develop into a dual auxiliary company: a high-end steelmaker and a green energy company,” Wong said at the company’s annual general meeting on Monday.
