Taiwanese scrap prices remain firm
The Taiwanese scrap market remained strong this week, and suppliers were reluctant to cut prices when sales were stable, Kallanish notes.
A local contact in Taiwan tells Kallanish that HMS 1&2 80:20 container scrap is offered at over $235/tonne cfr Taiwan, almost unchanged from last week.
