Taiwanese scrap prices keep declining

Taiwan's scrap market has maintained its decline this week, with lower international raw material prices and weak steel demand leading to a drop in purchasing. Local electric arc furnace producer Feng Hsin Iron & Steel has decreased its rebar sales prices by TWD 400/tonne ($12/t) and scrap buying prices by TWD 300/t this week.
