Taiwanese container scrap slips further

Taiwanese container scrap import prices have continued to slip, Kallanish notes. The scrap market has been weighed down by the weakness of domestic rebar demand and prices. A leading mill is currently bidding container HMS 1&2 80:20 from the US at $310/tonne cfr, and traders believed that it secured some tonnages.  Earlier this week, deals have taken place at $313t cfr.
