Taiwanese container scrap rises on tight supply
The market in Taiwan for US containerised HMS 1&2 80:20 scrap continued to rise this week on tight scrap supply, trading sources tell Kallanish. Domestic EAF mills have raised their production rates since October in tandem with a pick-up in rebar demand.
