Taiwanese container scrap prices jump on demand

The Taiwanese market for containerised scrap saw prices rebound this week with the rise in global scrap prices and better sales of rebar domestically, Kallanish notes. HMS 1&2 80:20 container scrap from the US West coast was concluded at $230/t cfr, a Taiwan scrap trader tells Kallanish.
