Taiwanese container scrap prices uptick
Taiwanese containerised scrap prices increased slightly during this week, in line with the general trend in global scrap markets, Kallanish notes.
"Very limited offers for containerised scrap at over $250/tonne cfr price were released to the Taiwan market this week, as the US will celebrate Thanksgiving holiday," a Taiwanese trader says. "The shortage of scrap supply is continuing in Taiwan," the trader adds.
