Taiwanese container scrap dips
Taiwanese scrap import prices dipped slightly on-week, Kallanish notes.
Certain Taiwanese mills lowered their bid prices for containerised HSM 1&2 80:20 to $332-333/tonne cfr this week, from $335/t cfr previously. However, US suppliers are offering material at $335-340/t cfr. Mills have been resisting scrap import offers because of the weak rebar market in Taiwan, Taiwanese trading sources noted.
