Taiwan's Shangchen commissions HDG unit
MCC CERI reports that a continuous hot-dip galvanizing unit that it has supplied has been commissioned at Taiwan's Shangchen Steel. The designed capacity of this line is 300,000 tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
MCC says that the line can produce hot-dip galvanized steel and hot-dip aluminium-zinc coated steel with a thickness range of 0.3-3mm.
