Taiwan sees more steel trade in March
Taiwan has seen growth in March steel cross-border trade over February, but the decline compared with the same period of 2022 was still large, Kallanish learns from data provided by the Ministry of Finance, Taiwan.
In March, Taiwan exported steel worth $1.54 billion, up 7.4% month-on-month but down 26.7% year-on-year. The m-o-m rebound was mainly due to a low base as February export value was the second lowest in 26 months except for December last year.
