Taiwan scrap prices fall futher

Taiwanese scrap prices continued to fall this week. Weak local demand and price cuts by overseas suppliers undermined support for scrap prices. Kallanish assessed HMS 1&2 80:20 container scrap on Wednesday at $435/tonne cfr Taiwan, down by another $5/t week-on-week.
