Taiwan posts highest-ever monthly steel export value
Taiwan achieved in July its highest monthly export value for steel and steel products since 2001. This was up 21.24% month-on-month and 79.81% year-on-year to $1.97 billion, Kallanish notes from Taiwan Ministry of Finance data.
The export value in the first seven months of the current year therefore totalled $11.39 billion, up 39.27% y-o-y.
