Taiwan CSC’s second-quarter loss halves

Taiwan's China Steel Corporation (CSC) saw pre-tax loss in the second quarter narrow by 51% from Q1 to TWD 1.253 billion ($42.77 million), Kallanish notes. In June, CSC’s revenue was TWD 23.918 billion, up 2.8% month-on-month but down -18.5% year-on-year, which signalled an end to its two-month downtrend.
