Taiwan CSC raises steel prices for February
Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) on Friday announced it would raise steel offers for February considering the expected demand recovery after China’s zero-Covid policy cancellation and shrinking production worldwide, Kallanish notes.
For hot rolled plate, electro-galvanized, electromagnetic steel coils, CSC added TWD 500/t ($16.5/t) on their February offers. This also applies to hot-dip galvanized steel used for white goods and computers.
