Taiwan CSC sees losses widen in July

China Steel Corporation, Taiwan’s largest steel manufacturer, reported falling turnover in July this year due to lower steel prices. Its monthly losses also widened alongside dropping margins, according to the company’s monthly report. Monthly carbon steel sales came to 610,673 tonnes in July, down 5.7% on-month and 10.7% on-year, Kallanish notes.
