Taiwan CSC levies carbon surcharge from August 2022
Taiwan's China Steel Corporation (CSC) will begin to impose a carbon surcharge on steel exports from August 2022. The move will allow it to pre-empt measures in other regions such as the European Union's carbon border adjustment mechanism, Kallanish notes.
