Taiwan, Brazil offset KSC export halt to Saudi
Exports to Taiwan and Brazil offset in the last Iranian year through 20 March 2017 the loss of Saudi Arabia as a market for Khouzestan Steel (KSC), according to the company’s chief executive, Mohammad Reza Khiabani.
Saudi was KSC’s largest customer in calendar-year 2015, taking in 241,000 tonnes of semis (see Kallanish passim), but shipments there ceased from the start of 2016 following a diplomatic row that is yet to be resolved.
