Taishan Steel starts building converters
China’s Taishan Steel in Shandong Province has started the construction of its new steelmaking project in the capital city of the province, Jinan, Kallanish notes.
The project was announced as early as 2019, and was initially expected to be commissioned in 2022. Thus, this indicates a four-and-a-half-year delay.
