Taishan Stainless plans to upgrade hot rolling line
Shandong Taishan Stainless Steel, a Shandong Taishan Steel subsidiary, plans to upgrade its hot rolling production lines to increase productivity with lower energy consumption. This has been approved by the Jinan Government, Kallanish notes.
Taishan Stainless will convert its existing 1,800mm Steckel rolling mill into one 1,820mm hot strip rolling production line, which can produce 4 million tonnes/year, including 1m t/y of stainless steel.
