Taihang Steel completes sinter plant test
Hebei Taihang Iron & Steel Group has commissioned two 300m2 sintering machines belonging to the first phase of its relocation project at Nanminghe Industrial Park in Wu'an city, Kallanish notes.
The two sintering machines started construction in November 2019, and are equipped with a waste heat power generation plant. The firm now has a design capacity of 9.98 million tonnes/year of sinter, and can reduce electricity costs by -52%.
