Tagal commissions Chongqing autosheet line
Anshan Iron and Steel’s (Angang) joint venture with Germany’s ThyssenKrupp, Tagal, has held an opening ceremony for its new 450,000 tonnes/year autosheet galvanizing line in southwest China’s Chongqing. The delayed project is entering the market during a downturn in Chinese automotive production but demographics suggest growth should return before long, Kallanish notes.
