Swedish supply spurs Turkish iron ore import rebound
Turkish iron ore imports rebounded in April after their March slump, surging 28% on-year to 722,031 tonnes. according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value was $101/tonne versus $73/t in April 2019.
Sweden took the top-supplier spot from Brazil, providing 330,111t of iron ore versus zero in April 2019. Supply from Brazil fell -27% to 242,307t, but Russian-origin intake almost quadrupled to 149,613t.…
