Sunlight Metallurgical proposes equipment upgrade scheme
Southern China’s Guangxi Sunlight Metallurgical has recently announced an upgrading plan for its steelmaking equipment through the provincial Economy & Information Commission. Sunlight is also investing in a 3.5 million tonnes/year stelworks in Malaysia’s Kuantan together with the state-owned Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port Group, Kallanish notes.
The Sunlight Metallurgical company profile shows 2016 revenues reached CNY 27.4 billion ($4.23 billion).
