Sumitomo Metal foresees nickel oversupply in 2023-2024
Sumitomo Metal Mining said last week that the global nickel supply glut will widen in 2024 from 2023. This will come as Indonesia continues to increase the production of low-grade nickel pig iron (NPI), Kallanish notes.
