Sülzle bags major rebar contract for tunnel project

German steel stockholding group Sülzle Stahlpartner will be delivering 17,000 tonnes of processed rebar for a tunnel construction project on the Karlsruhe – Basel train line, Kallanish learns. The tunnel near the city of Rastatt will consist of two single-track tubes along a length of 4,270 meters, suited for train speeds of up to 250 km/h.
