Sukha Balka’s iron ore production increases in 2021
Iron ore output at Ukraine's Sukha Balka mine, part of DCH Steel, increased in 2021, the company confirms to Kallanish.
Production amounted to 2.7 million tonnes, up by 5.6% on-year.
In December alone the enterprise produced 237,200t, more by 2.4% on-year.
In 2020, the mine reduced iron ore production by 6.3% on-year to 2.55mt. In 2019 it had slightly increased output, by 0.3% on-year to 2.73mt (see Kallanish passim).
