Suez Steel commissions third rolling mill
Solb Misr has commissioned the third rolling mill at its Suez Steel plant in Ain Sokhna, Egypt, Kallanish learns from Egypt’s state information service, SIS.
The 1.4 million tonnes/year of 5.5-40mm rebar capacity plant, supplied by Danieli, takes Suez Steel’s long product rolling capacity to 2.3m t/y. Product will initially be sold in the domestic market but later also for export to Africa and Asia.
