Suez Canal blockage threatens China's chrome ore imports
China's chrome ore imports are at risk of disruption from the Suez Canal blockage by the Panamanian-flagged container ship "Ever Given", Kallanish notes.
Reports at press deadline on Friday showed the vessel was yet to be re-floated, hindering movement in either direction through the canal. Some estimates say it will take one month to re-open the waterway.
