Subdued demand pushes Turkish merchant bar prices down
Turkish merchant bar producers faced weak demand throughout last week which pressured prices.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $650-690/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $660-700/t for IPN-UPN sections, $670-710/t for flat bars, and $660-700/t for IPE sections. These are down $20-30/t from two weeks prior.
