Strong domestic demand prevents Iranian billet quotes dropping
Strong Iranian domestic demand is preventing billet prices from falling further. In anticipation of the electricity supply curtailment, which will likely start in June, Iranian re-rollers have increased billet purchases, aiming not to be short of semis in the summer.
