Strike disrupts production at Hyundai Steel's Ulsan plant
Hyundai Steel's Ulsan plant suspended production for an hour on Tuesday as workers went on strike.
Production disruptions were triggered by outsourced workers requesting direct employment, Kallanish notes. This shutdown has almost no impact on production, Hyundai Steel says.
Earlier this year, strikes for the same reason shut down the Ulsan plant three times during 19-20 October (24 hours), 28-29 September (24 hours) and on 20 July (12 hours).
